Thanks to the amazing people over at ZiiNews.com this little tidbit of information was pointed out to me. In the small news feed section of the Zii Labs site over on the left a post showed up regarding a new Zii TRINITY phone. Right now it's refering to it as a concept phone, but surely someone will make this a reality.

The main problem I see currently is the development of Plaszma. While progressing, it is no where near where a phone OS should be for it's debut. After all, people depend on their phones. They need them to work without fail. They need to be able to listen to their music and know that if they need to make a call or get into an accident they can contact someone without waiting for the phone to reboot because the music player crashed and brought the OS down with it. Hopefully this means some major enhancements (and maybe those additional Apps we've seen icons for in the Zii demos) will be making their way to the ZiiEGG soon. Or perhaps those will be retained for the newly announced Zii Developent Kit Phone Editions they mentioned as well. I can't help but wonder when we'll get our hands on these new items they've mentioned, as well as to what they'll cost.

Creative also mentioned several other items and products including the ZiiLife suite of services targeted at content and OEM partners, a new PCI Express card designed to give high definition capabilities to low end netbooks, a "7M" Mulit-everything video conferencing system, and a pocket sized synthesizer capable of rivaling a grand piano. I can't wait to see where this goes from here.
